Counting the Homer for
Tuesday evening, April 23

Wednesday, April 24



1. Recite the blessing:

Blessing for the counting of the omer
   Baruch atah adonay eloheynu melech ha'olam asher kidshanu
   bemitzvotav vetzivanu al sefirat ha'omer

Blessed are you, ETERNAL, our God, the sovereign of all, who has
   made us holy with your mitzvot and commanded us concerning the counting
   of the Omer.

2. Count the Homer:

 
Kids, eat your maror. I put it on a stick.

Hayom yom echad la'omer
Today is the first day of the Omer

(Second seder tonight)
